These sanctions have been incorporated into Norwegian law through Regulation of 15 August 2014 No. 1076 on restrictive measures concerning actions that undermine or threaten Ukraine\u2019s territorial integrity, sovereignty, independence, and stability.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">These historically extensive sanctions aim to weaken Russia\u2019s ability to finance and sustain its illegal war in Ukraine. The restrictions are continuously tightening, significantly limiting trade opportunities with Russia.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n              <\/div>\n                        \n          <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n    <section class=\"text-editor block\">\n\n      <div class=\"text-editor-grid grid-12 grid-m-8 grid-s-4 inline-padding fade-me\">\n          <div class=\"text-editor-wrapper rg-25 rg-s-20 main-text\">\n\n          <p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Guidance on Sanctions in Response to Russia&#8217;s Military Aggression Against Ukraine<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Norway implemented new sanctions against Russia on March 27<sup>th<\/sup> 2026, aligning with the EU\u2019s 19th sanctions package. <a href=\"https:\/\/deksa.no\/nyhet\/19-sanksjonspakke-mot-russland-er-innfort-i-norsk-rett\/\">More information on these new measures can be found here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Please note that the DEKSA guide is not available in English.
