The scope of these sanction regimes varies significantly.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Everyone subject to the regulations, must familiarize themselves with these regulations, including applicable prohibitions, goods subject to export or import bans, and <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">persons and entities subject to financial sanctions<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If there is uncertainty regarding the interpretation of the regulations, DEKSA can provide general guidance but not specific legal advice. developed an online portal that provides a visual overview of EU restrictive measures and UN sanctions. This is a useful source of information for Norwegian operators as well, since Norway largely has similar sanction regulations. We emphasise that Norwegian regulations apply to Norwegian operators and exports from Norway. You can find the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanctionsmap.eu\/#\/main\">EU Sanctions Map here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Some countries impose their own unilateral sanctions. For example, the USA has an extensive sanctions framework that is continuously evolving. For certain Norwegian exporters, particularly those with operations or interests in the USA, it is important to familiarise themselves with US sanctions regulations.
